I received my Master of Fine Arts in poetry from Western Michigan University in 2002. My first collection of poetry, Small Murders, was released from New Issues Press in 2006. Since then, I have three self-published chapbooks: Ward Eighty-One, The Chase and So Sorry to See You Go.
I received my Masters in New Arts Journalism from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2011. I am currently a freelance art writer for Chicago Art Magazine, but I have also written for other publications.
I live in Chicago where I am also a poet and an artist. I live with my sweet and spoiled cats, Seamus and Hortense.
… and, of course, my Doll Work.
